    - Individuals can call the IRS at 800-829-1040 - Businesses can call 800-829-4933 If you have received a letter, you can call the number on the letter.
  • How can I get a copy of my tax return?
    Electronic copies of your tax returns are available in your canopy account You can also obtain copies of your prior year tax returns via the IRS website, by creating an online account. https://www.irs.gov/your-account
  • Where can I find the Individual and Business Taxpayer's Checklists?

  • I received a letter from the IRS, or my State and you are not available, what should I do?
    Please call 331-431-9129 and follow the prompts to leave a message or send an email to Victoria.watson@vwaccountingservice.com. Please allow 24-72 hours for a response. You can also read through the letter and follow their instructions regarding how and when to respond.
  • How do I setup my Canopy Client Portal Account?
    1. Check both the inbox and spam folders in your email for a invitation to the Client Portal. 2. Click on the blue navigation button in the email "Create Account" 3. Once redirected to https://vwaccountingservice.clientportal.com/, validated the prepopulated First Name, Last Name, and email fields. 4. Establish your password by typing it in the first password field. 5. Retype the same password in the second password field. 6. Click the box to agree to terms, a green check mark will appear. 7. Click the navigation button to sign in/create account. The account has been successfully created and you will be logged into your account.   • How do I log into the Canopy Client Portal Mobile App?

  • What is my next step after receiving an invite via email to the Canopy Client Portal?
    Your practitioner will send you an invite via email to the Client Portal. Upon receiving this email, you can log into the Client Portal to create your initial account or access your existing account. Once logged in, complete the Client Organizer for the current tax year and upload all tax documents for review.
