- 01To contact the IRS: - Individuals: Call 800-829-1040 - Businesses: Call 800-829-4933 - If you received a letter, use the number provided in the letter.
- 02You can get electronic copies of your tax returns in your Canopy account. For prior year tax returns, create an online account on the [IRS website](https://www.irs.gov/your-account).

- 04If you get a letter from the IRS or State and I’m unavailable, call 331-431-9129 or email Victoria.watson@vwaccountingservice.com. Expect a response within 24-72 hours. You can also follow the letter’s instructions for how and when to respond.
- 05To set up your Canopy Client Portal account: 1. Check your email (including spam) for the invitation. 2. Click "Create Account" in the email. 3. Verify your name and email on the redirected page. 4. Create and confirm your password. 5. Agree to the terms by checking the box. 6. Click "Create Account" to finish. - 07After receiving an email invite to the Canopy Client Portal: 1. Log in to create your account or access your existing one. 2. Complete the Client Organizer for the current tax year. 3. - 08When you receive a special survey called an Organizer. Organizers are visible on your To-do list and are indicated by a paper and pencil icon.
